I have taken my boat to the shop twice of a solid warning horn. First time, they replaced the impeller. Took a prospective buyer out on the boat. After 30 minutes of running the boat, turned it off. Turned the key back on and a solid horn. Put the boat on plane, then the buzzer went really high pitched and then it went off. Got the boat to the dock, turned motor off. Backed the truck down into the water and went to put the boat on. Turned the key and, you guessed it, solid warning buzzer.
Took it back to the shop. They ran it for 45 minutes and found no problem. They say the popit valve (?) was stuck, fixed it. I get it home, take same prospective buyer (now with cash in hand) to the lake. Run it for an hour, everything fine. Go to put it on the trailer, you guessed it again...warning buzzer.
Needless to say, prospective buyer probably looking elsewhere. I am super, SUPER mad. Can anyone give me some idea why this is happening and what to check?
I appreciate it.
