I think i already know the answer to this.
I ordered this gimbel ring kit. Opened it up, it had instructions telling you how to put the swivel and hinge pin bushings in. Instructions said it was for 865328A01, and for 0D469859 and above.
It looked a little different but everything goes together, until... The trim cylinders rear pin is smaller than the bore in the new ring and it would need a spacer to hold the cyls out. You know , like a BRAVO!
Did Merc make some kind of change for the gen2 ring recently or did they package a Bravo ring in a Gen II box. The box is the correct pn and the box doesnt look like it was ever opened till me.
