Is this a good deal? Comes with controls and wiring. Extra prop. Just had a fresh service. Anyone think I should bite? I plan to have him meet me on the water so i can run it first. He said he bypassed the oil pump and mixes 50:1. Things to look for? Thank you in advance!

Engine should start with just a bump of the switch and idle smoothly. Check compression first and wireing on the motor for cracks in the insulation.

Boy it sure did. Ran like a top on the water yesterday. However I noticed the voltage reading on the new Garmin sonar read 17 volts at WOT. 12.8 volts when the engine was off. I'll inspect the battery and hook up the muffs and test voltage right at the battery through the range of rpms before I worry too much. Thank you for the reply!

Just to be aware of parts are very tough to find for this particular motor apparently they didn't make very many of the four cylinders. I paid $120 for a screw and can't find any carburetor parts Etc you might want to look for a motor you'll be able to maintain more economically in the future. If I can't get mine running good soon I'm going to part it out
