1996 Starcraft super fisherman 19. Needs carpet pleae help

Does the floor come up in sections? Any tips on recarpeting? I dread the thought of tearing boat apart

The deck (floor) is probably riveted down

Carpet is likely OVER the plywood seams & rivets

It is also likely glued down

If there has been any previous work done on the boat, some or all of that ^^^ may be incorrect

You should read thru a few of the resto's Bob posted. Many of them are constructed similar to your Fisherman 19. Not exactly, but partly & similar enough to show what you likely face


Strictly speaking, you shouldn't need to pull the deck to replace the carpet. What's up? Got pix?
