1996 Sunbird? What outboard should came with it new?

Looking at buying a 96 Sunbird 17ft Ski Type boat. Has 115 Johnson on it. Wondering if this motor came on the boat? Not sure how old the motor is if it did not come on the boat. Owner has only had it a year and is unsure. It is in Fair shape 100% usable though and for $2500.

Well in 1996, Sunbird boats was an OMC company.
So they all came with Evinrude or Johnsons.
