1997 130 hp Yamaha 2 stroke maintenance items

Hey all:

I purchased a 97 flats boat with the above engine. I have changed several items on this motor, impeller, t-stats, plugs, fuel pump, etc. Mostly common knowledge things. Here is my question:

What maintenance items besides the above should I be concerned about? I have no idea of the maintenance history of this motor, so I would like to change what needs to be done.

I have read some posts on the remote oil tank filter, and will be changing that this weekend.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Install a fuel/water separator type filter(Walmart $27), drain carb float chambers a couple of times a year, check and clean under-cowl fuel filter, use Stabil and Yamaha Ringfree all the time. Clean, fresh fuel is the key to these motors dependability. Good Luck!
