Hi, my grandson just picked up a pontoon boat with this motor that runs perfectly at high speeds but when you try to idle around the dock it stalls out. It starts right up in neutral and runs until you shift into gear . We tried tuning up the idle screw but it still stalled out. We have took the carbs off and cleaned them (they were not that bad) . I was scared to take off the plastic tops because I have read that they warp. We did the link and sink per the manual. We set the carbs at 2 3/4 turns out. We did not touch the fine tuning screws because the manual says use these to fine tune( but should they be set at a starting point?) We also replaced all fuel lines and primer bulb. Any help would be of greatly appreciated . Tim
