I am a recent (2-3 yrs) new boat owner, and was wondering if the seat skins can be ordered by a dealer from Bayliner? The seat skins are splitting at the seams from sun and use. I downloaded a spec. sheet from the Bayliner site, and it gave part#'s and names "sleeper seat cushion skins".

Or is an upholstery shop the better way to go.

Thanks

By the time you track down the material from Bayliner, pay all of those shipping charges and what not it would be cheaper and faster to stay with a local upholstery shop. The material can be ordered off the net from several different places. I've dealt with these folks before and they are really good at what they do :http://www.garysupholstery.com/.
However I would definately do some pricing and see which way would be the least expensive. Quality wise I think you will see that most of the aftermarket items will be a little better.

I just recently found a place that will copy the covers in any color, you send them the old skins and the will copy them, I recently asked them how much to do my 99 capri 2050 ls and the quote is $900, I am planning on getting mine done soon to match the new paint job!!
