I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction here...
I went to get into my 1997 Chevy K1500 yeasterday morning at 10*F, proceeded to turn the heater on and nothing happened. No blowing at all.
The fan had been squeaking/rattling a little in the weeks before but nothing major....
You guys reckon the blower motor just went out, or are there other possibilities I can explore?
Thanks for any and all help.

Usually as the resistor assembly goes bad you will loose the lower fan speeds but keep high. If you have battery and ground at the fan assembly the motor is bad.

ok thanks. i just contacted an auto parts store and they said it is either motor or resistor, both of which are inexpensive....
