I've got a friend who asked me to sell an exeptionally well-mainained 21' Gambler for him. It has a 1997 225 EFI Mercury on it, hotfoot and trim controls are on the floor and the remote control box, 1500 dollar fishfinder, and a 3500 dollar prop that apparently adjusts to change your RPM's. Some of this is over my head and I work with most of it on a daily basis. The boat is just about spotless. There's a ding the size of the quarter where someone banged the dock with just the tip of the nose. Has just had a 700 dollar trolling motor installed. The paint is so clean that you could probably stand over it and shave in the morning. He's a professional guide and has kept it inside.

I know you're not seeing it, but roughly speaking, can anyone give me an idea of blue book on this before I undersell it on his behalf?

First show me the $1500 fishfinder and the $3500 prop.

Re: 1997 Gambler 209T value

I saw them briefly yesterday when I was down his way and they're both like brand new. I'm not even advising him to keep them on the boat. It's a controllable pitch propeller of some sort. I suggested that it would be worth more to stick a good stainless prop on the motor and sell the prop and fishfinder seperately. So let's assume that they're gone. Just the boat, hotfoot stuff, trolling motor, and 225 EFI. If someone has a rough idea of the blue book on these, I'd love to hear it. I'm going to find out what I can and then we're going to either auction it or stick a fixed price on it for ebay, I believe.
