1997 Larson 206 SEI-- Fuel Venting

How does fuel tank vent to atmosphere? The vent hose travels alongside the main fill hose from tank to fill cap. There is no separate exit fitting , so I assume the main fill cap also serves as vent.

You are correct, that vent tube connects to a nipple on the filler and vents out the cap. I dont like it either!
