1997 Mariner 150 ?

Hi all! I'am looking at a 1997 Sea Ray with a 1997 Mariner 150. I've searched the fourm to see what types of problems these engines might have, not much really turned up. I was wondering if anyone would know what this engine is like and what kind of compression it should have? I would like to check it befor handing over the $$$. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

most of the late model outboards are of excellent quality, save for the 98-2001 OMC outboards. You should have no problems with your mariner.
