I have a 1997 Mariner 40 hp with 2 12 gallon portable plastic tanks on my pontoon boat.<br /><br />They are exposed to sunlight.<br /><br />The boat is trailered and used less than 75 hrs/year.<br /><br />All the gas in my region has gone over to 10% ethanol blend. I still have about 18 gallons of older fuel with the MPTE blend.<br /><br />My questions are...what precautions/maintenance do I need to do when/before using the ethanol fuels and do I need to totally use up the old fuel or can they be combined.<br /><br />Thanks
