1997 Merc 2 stroke 4 cylinder throttle arm issue

I accidentally let the throttle arm pop apart while cleaning the water passages inside the exhaust cover. I cannot figure how to get the darn spring back into position between the two parts of the throttle arm, HELP my manual shows me all the adjustments but not how to reassemble that arm

OK I figured it out, had to take the assembly off the throttle cable,out it together with the spring pressure and then re-install it on the motor.
Now for the wires coming out of the electric box, they were sticking out of the bottom and the side and the cover did not look correct on there
I changed the bleed hose and cleaned that tiny brass bleed check valve on the bottom of the power head. Not sure what that thing does but it was partially clogged.
