1997 Merc 200 DPI Problems I should know of?

I am in a real pinch, need new power on short notice and the price on this motor is good , low hours, freshwater use. However, I have never run Mercury power and know they have had some bad problems in recent years....is this a motor I should look out for? Any feed back would be a huge help.

I ran a mercruiser inboard stern drive flawlessly on a 26 ' wellcraft.. it performed like a champ all i ever did was add gas and oil never had an issue with the engine,,,,,,the fish never co-operated though.....
