1997 Mercruiser 4.3 LX Exhaust

I need a new Y Pipe. The casting number is 807130-C2. I see many that look the same, but none with the same cast number. Are all of these the same? Thanks!

Mercury parts go by part number, not casting number...

Can you please help guide me to find the part number? I spent about an hour looking in books and online and am at a loss. Thanks I’m advance.

Motor serial numbers are best to verify what you have, but

Being a 1997 it can have one of 2 Y pipes
807130A7 for ones which have one piece exhaust manifolds (bat wing)
8M0115149 for ones which have two piece exhaust manifolds

I am now totally confused. Forgive me and thanks for your patience. When i look up two piece and one piece i can’t tell the difference. I’m not sure what I’m looking at. I sent pics of what i have. In my haste in taking it off, i broke the mounts for the through bolts at the bottom. I’ve found lots that look similar on eBay. Just want to make sure i get the right one. Thanks again.

Ayuh,...... Those 1 piece manifolds are a busted motor, just waitin' to happen,.....

They were a cause of bent rods since they came out,....

Shifted cores in the castin' process has ruined 1,000s of motors,......
