I am having trouble finding parts that cross reference to the OE parts. No local marinas will work on this boat anymore due to the age and I had to call alot of local mechanic shops to find some one willing to work on it. I have him rebuilding the carb as it has never been rebuilt or even cleaned to my knowledge and is running very rich. I assume he will be able to get parts due to being a Holley carb. While he has it in his shop, I was going to have him do wires, cap, rotor, and points as these are all original as well to me knowledge but i am having trouble finding parts for the OE Prestolite distributor. I don't want him to have to wear himself out trying to find parts as he was hesitant to take the work in the first place. Does anyone know of a resource to be able to find and/or cross reference any parts off of this (as well as any other items on the boat)? I have googled around for a few hours with not very many matching results if any at all. I am pretty mechanically minded, just don't have much experience working with carburated engines. That is the main reason I am having someone else do the work.

Is your Ford engine left or right rotation? Straight or “V” drive? Post a picture of the distributor with the cap removed.
The ignition points and condenser ,rotor and cap are easily matched up at any NAPA store.
351 Ford parts are easily also found at any NAPA store.
OMC, Volvo and Mercruiser also used the same engine.
Sierra Marine has all the cooling system parts.

THank you for the reply. I did a little more digging and was able to find everything I needed at this point. I guess i should have looked a little harder before posting!

Thank you. I'm thinking i found the correct stuff. We will see when it shows up. If not, I will probably go this route. Nothing seems wrong with existing, it's just the fact that it is all original, so I figured i would give it a complete once-over.
