Does anyone have any idea where to locate the vin# on this trailer? (it's a dual axial) I'm trying to register the trailer without the old registration so I have to go through a ton of hoops. The first is to find the vin#. I can not for the life of me find one. The other thing I will need is the weight. Problem is... the boat is on the trailer and they want a print out of the weight, without the boat... oh and on top of that is has to be under a 1000lbs any idea what this trailer might weigh? Any help would be great.

Thanks.

You will need to have the trailer weighed, without the boat. In NY, we can register it as homemade and just get it weighed with some other general information.

Check inside the frame rails, should find it there unless someone has repainted it

performance trailer is usually one side of the tongue of the other.

Why must the trailer be under 1000#? I have a single axle trailer that totes an 18 foot toon. The advertised weight of the trailer is 880#. I suspect for a 24 footer you have a tandem trailer and as such it is very likely over 1000#. A sissor or bunk style would likely make a difference as well.
