I recently purchased a 1997 Sea Ray X16 with a Merc Cruiser 175 XR2 engine. I have been trying to remove the engine using gantry lifting straight up with a lifting eye. I can only lift one corner half an inch. I have blasted 3 in 1 spray to try & loosen the both halfs, the head from the jet pump to no avail. Any tips on how to get them separated? I have removed the 10 nuts holding them together. thanks
