I have a 1997 Suzuki DT15C that came with my boat when I bought it a couple years ago. The engine has always ran well with plenty of power but I do have one concern:
I dont' know if it's just the brand/model or if there is truly something wrong.
When the engine is running on the hose or in the water, it spits the water out of the port on the back of the engine. I've always seen the water being spit straight down on the right side of the engine in a fine stream. I looked at my engine the other night and it looks like there is a hose with a small hole at the end to create a stream of water but it's never dripped, spit, sprayed out of there.
My question is:
Did the Suzuki DT15C have a sprayhose on the right side like Johnson/Merc/Yamaha or does the water always spit out the back? If so, what could I do to fix it so it does spray properly? Any thoughts would be great. Thanks.
