1998 115hp Johnson Steering Adjustments

I have a 1999 crestliner 1850 sportfish with a 1998 115hp Johnson and was wondering if it is possible to adjust the steering. The boat goes straight when the steering wheel is a half turn to the left. When the steering wheel is straight the boat viers to the right. Is there an adjustment that can be made or can the steering wheel be pulled of and repositioned?

do you have rotary or rack steering?

On a rack and pinon system, you should be able to disconnect the rack (and cable) from the pinon. So set the motor straight, disconnect the rack, turn the wheel to straight, reattach the rack.
