Hi all,

I suspect I am in need of a new helm (see attached video) but I do not know how to determine which helm kit to order. Can anyone offer guidance on this? The boat has a tilt steering wheel.
As for the video, it was taken with the steering cable detached from the motor. The motor moves easily. The steering wheel/cable also moves freely.
I experience stiff steering with the clicking/popping seen in the video when I am in the water, under power. In the video, I’m simulating the clicking by trying to turn against the steering stop.

Thanks for the reply. Any guidance on which kit to order? There are no part numbers stamped into the current helm. Also, I’m not sure if I can mount a new helm to the existing steering wheel tilt assembly or if I need to order a tilt wheel kit as well.
