I need to do a carb rebuild on the subject outboard on my pontoon. However I am across the lake from the ramp and cannot get the motor started. Have not tried starting in over a week and am sure the bowls are flooded with oil and/or the float is stuck. Gas is coming through exhaust when trying to start. Will start up briefly with starting fluid. As it is in the water and not very accessible (4' of muck below dock), any tips on how I can get this started and to the ramp?
