Inspected fuel tank check valve and screen.
It all started when I had replaced the bulb on the fuel line the bulb collapsed thats when all my problems began since then I can't seem to get it fixed."Runs Great anywhereabove Idle WOT or just above Idle Reverse" Not Much Time left till I'll be back In Iraq anybody have any Ideas?

Idle mixture and idle speed need to be adjusted with the engine in the water. Using muffs, there is no exhaust back pressure. RPMs will drop significantly in the water. Hence the stalling.

The zip ties will secure the fuel lines nicely if snugged up properly. The SS clamps can pinch the lines and allow air to be sucked in.

Did you replace your primer bulb with an OMC or after market? This has come up quite a few times and for some reason only the OMCs consistently work well.

The idle speed is controlled by advancing the timing. There is a screw on the throttle tower that will only move the linkage connected to the tower. Moving this screw will move the tower off the idle stop and when you look up at the top you can see the linkage moving the timer base. The timer base basically just repositions the trigger coils thereby advancing the timing. Do not adjust the screw at the top of the throttle tower because that one is the wide open throttle stop, if you overadvance the timing by moving that screw, detonation can occur and will damage your engine. You also need to check to be sure that your throttle plates are closing completely at idle and that they start to move together. Last take the remote control to wide open and make sure that the throttle plates open completely. Thanks for your service to our country and may God protect you when you go back!

How could it be the ide screw, when before the ball collapsed it was running great? I'll give it a try though,What's the proper procedure for adjusting twin carbs is there a vacume gage needed like if your settin twin carbs for a motorcycle? Should I turn 1/4 turn out or in? I don't have the Repair Manual. What Would be the right Idle speed out of the water a good bit higher I suspect, "2000rpms 1500rpms"?
Thanks for the suggestions!

If your bulb collapsed then you need to make sure that your tank is vented.

Drill a hole in the bottom of the can, or use a portable bildge pump. Good luck stay safe.

Put a length of garden hose in it and siphon most of it out. Should be able to tilt the engine and then tip over the trash can to get the rest out.

Glad it worked for you. I like to adjust idle speed and mixture at the dock, in neutral, and when you think its correct, pop it in forward (making sure the boat is secured to dock and the dock is secured to land), and then do a final tweak.

The SS clamps can pinch the lines and allow air to be sucked in.
I never could figure out how air could get in, but fuel (liquid) couldnt get out?
