I have searched the deep web high and low with no avail!
What is the trick to getting this starter off the motor? It seems there is not enough room to drop it from the bottom. Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance!

Going to assume it's a 60* as the other model has been around forever & should be plenty of YouTube on starter removal.
The 60* motor's starter is held on by 3 screws. Two at the top & one at the right lower rear of the starter. (Ground wires are there too). Get those tight! You need to remove the cable/harness cover to access that screw. Once removed the starter should be loose. Just a matter of working it around until you have enough space to slide it down & out. No need to remove flywheel cover.
Putting it back on can be a little tricky. If it won't mesh the teeth keep dropping it down & turn the starter a bit to line up the gear.

I haven’t took the flywheel covers off yet

I have the 3 bolts out of the starter, honestly do not see how it is possible for it to slide down. I’ll keep monkeying with it
Thanks everyone
