I recently purchased a boat, that came with this motor on it, motor looks like it has very little if any use at all. Replaced impeller, and since the previous owner told me it was not charging the battery, i also replaced the rectifier. I believe I hooked the wires up right, yellow to yellow, yellow/gray to yellow/gray to solid gray, yellow/blue to yellow/blue, and red to red. Started it and still even under load at high rpms, does not charge at all, have depth finder for volt meter and when running the volts do not increase whatsoever. What else could be a problem in the charging system here?
