Came here with my 89’ evinrude ignition problems and had good luck. Hoping you guys can help with a newer 1998 I just got.
Ran a few weeks ago perfect
Tried to turn over today and nothing. Bilge, trim, lights all work. No clicking or anything with ignition.
12.5v at top of solenoid. Pulled out ignition and only 4 wire. M M A B? No “start/solenoid”
When I jumped between solenoid the starter engages so it’s not the starter. When I try the push button start on by tiller handle I hear a click but not from solenoid. Not sure where.
The no “S” terminal on the ignition has me confused. I thought that’s what gave the start command.
Any help is appreciated.
