1998 Force 120 Rubber hose hanging...

I have a 98 Force came on a Sun Tracker pontoon boat I just bought. It has a 5 inch rubber hose coming up from the front of the lower unit just above the gearcase that's broken off and hanging. It looks like it's been that way for a while.<br /><br />I can't find any mention of it in the repair manual. Does anybody know what it is and where it "should" go??

This sounds like a water feed tube for a pitot-type speedometer. It would normally be plugged if not used.

Yep, It shouldn't "go" anywhere. It just hangs there lookin stupid.
