1998 force 120 stator

I need to replace the stator on my 1998 120 hp force engine. Does anyone know the amp on this? I don't know if it is a 9 or 16 amp. How do I tell?

According to the Seloc Repair Manual 14 amps, resistance on the stator should be .15 ohms to .20 ohms. Measure with an ohm meter across the yellow wires.
