Hello I am in a crunch this week. Last sunday I had a day off to get the kids outside and it was time to drag my boat out of the garage and get it ready. In Oct of last year I winterized the boat and set it up with fogging spray and stabil in the tank. I fired up the faststrike and it fired right up when the engine was warmed up I increased the RPMs and was doing good but when I put it back to idle the engine stayed in high rpms and was surging. After 20 or 30 seconds it settled down. I then manually opened the trottle bodies and fed it air and it surged again and I let it go and it stayed surged and 20 or 30 seconds it calmed down. I then let relax for a minute and it stalled once. FIred it right back up and increased RPMs and sounded good trying to burn out the fogging oil and was spitting out the carbon all out the back. Once again it surged but not as long and it once again surged when I opened the throttle manually and fed it air but did not surge as long. So I shut her down and parked her until this weekend. Now I wanted some advise on what to do next. I have not had any issues with her and the last decarb was last spring with OMC engice cleaner.
