1998 merc 115

buying a boat on the 3rd and it has a merc 115 two stroke.anyone own one how do they perform good motor or a problamatic motor.i have tried to find reviews on this motor but no luck.any help would be great thanks to all that reply.

im sorry i didnt see in front there the 1998. yes its a fairly good motor not the best year merc made them but taking that motor in the shop is less expensive than fourstrokes. if the motor was well token care of it will spend more time on the water
