I just picked up a 1998 mercury/force 75 for my pontoon. My question is, what holds the cables secure under the cowling to the engine. on the motor i removed the barrels on the cables slid into a housing and a clamp popped over to hold them in place. does anyone have a picture or can describe what i need for this motor. I have the parts manual but cannot find the part im looking for. serial number is OE312997. 1998 75ELPT. the cables on the boat are mercury style with barrel ends. i removed a 2002 115 saltwater that was too heavy for the boat. thanks in advance.
