1999 25hp 2 stroke

Hello,

I am looking at buying a 99 25hp 2 stroke used. The seller says he thinks it he ran regular gas instead of the mix through it, and knows one of the bottom pistion is scored. Are these both issues easily fixed or to cost prohibitive. Also has no tiller handled as it was set up for steering wheel, can a tiller handel be purchased?

Has anyone dealt with these issues, or might know if they are too problematice to fix. I'm set up to go look at it this evening, just wondering some sence of fixabilitiy before I buy.

I have a 2000 25 that I run on the back of a hydroplane. It is very happy with regular gas. The scored piston would bother me. I would pull the plug and inspect it. I have the tiller that came with mine - never used - been hanging in the shed since new. The dealer removed it for me on the showroom floor. I could be persuaded to part with it.
