The motor above has a bad stator. I'll be pulling the flywheel and replacing the stator. I've been told that I need to check/adjust the timing when I do this job. The engine is manual pull start. How do I properly set and adjust timing? This engine has a ECM on it so I thought with an ECM the timing was driven by magnetic pickup and the ECM.
