Im new here
thanx in advance to all that can help.

my 50 4stroke fuel injected O/B seems to work fine in the first few hours Im on the water. Then out of the blue it will start to kind of want to stall on me when I hav it at full throttle. At times my check engine would come on, So immediately I purchased the manual for it and read the code for It. That led me 2 the sensor which I cant remember by name right now but it has to do with the Air flow and wat not. So I purchased that part and the check engine has yet 2 come on (Im crossing my fingers on that). But I still get the stalling issue.

I appreciate all the feedback I can get thanx. If all else fails Im going to take it to a local mech. Trying to save though Im a student. :/

Oh I forgot to mention. Like I said it will sometimes want to stall on me at full throttle so Ill let off on the throttle a bit ansd will kind of pick up a bit of speed again than. So I slowly throttle up again and it will work for a little than back to the same issue.

Do you have a water seperating fuel filter on it?

That's the way my DF70 acted when there was a bit of water in the fuel. The water seperating filter solved it for me.

In fact I do have a fuel water seperator and it is fairly new.

Thanx for the response.

Another thing is that when I first start the engine. (meaning a cold start) It does not idle high to warm the engine then eventually rev down when warm. The sensor that the code led me to that I replaced was the IAC valve.
Thanx again
