there is a hose hanging on the rear of the lower unit I think it may be the pickup tube.It comes out of the lower unit but where does it connect to and what does it do?Its a small approximately 1/8th inch hose.Any response is appreciated.
Hi Jake. I have the same engine. This tube connects to your speedometer. The engine has it's own peto tube built into it. I don't use my either. No harm hanging there unless you like boaters saying "Hey mister, What's that tube there?.Regards..Tom8)
