1999 9.9 merc

pulled my carb apart today and noticed jet that comes down from bottom of carb is bent or is it supposed to be that way need help

By 'jet' you mean the thin brass fuel transfer tube, then yes, it is at an angle in every small carb I've had apart.

thanks for the response was blowing it out with air and was hoping i didn`t bend it.
