Buddy of mine just did a tune up on his truck, and now its running rough and he says it has a definite odor like sulfur/rotten egg smell coming from exhaust.

He may have got the plug wires crossed and I'm not there to try to help him. He thinks he's got the wires right.

So, I'm wondering if anyone knows if the sulfur/rotten egg smell is indicative of any specific problem that my help trace down the rough running, smelly condition.

thanks.

I seem to recall that smell being a indication of a bad catalytic converter.

Perhaps his catalytic has become plugged.

Thats what he was thinking. However, I just got the news...#7 wire had fallen off.
