1999 Evinrude 5hp Four Stroke Transporting

I recently bought a OMC USA made (according to the ID sticker on it) 1999 Evinrude Four Stroke 5hp and was wondering which side do I lay it on to transport it. The motor has feet on the front of the motor by the cowl latch so I assumed lay it with the prop facing the ground. Thanks

You should only carry it or lay it down as indicated in the owners manual.

For transportation , unless you can keep it upright it is generally preferable to drain the engine oil from 4 strokes

Lay it on the side with the carb facing up.
