1999 GMC Yukon SUV Paint Problems

Our GMC is painted with a metalic gold/tan paint and I assume it has some kind of clear coat over it. There is a crazing that is beginning to appear in several, if not many, areas. Is there anything that can stop this? If I take it to a paint shop will a fresh clear coat stop this? Other than that the body is in great condition. Unfortunately I have to keep it outside in the Florida sun.

Other ideas?

Got any pics so we can see what you are calling crazing or describe it a little better ....is it cracking or what do you mean...fading huh

if you are talking about small surface cracking then no, there isn't anything you can do aside from a complete repaint. the areas with cracks will need to be sanded to bare metal for it to be a good repair.
