I just changed my lower unit oil and it is not as transparent as usual.
Does this look milky to you?

Pictures don't always mean 1000 words, but it does look a tad on the "milky" side. How were the plug washers? I will say I've seen worse.

You should see what I drain out of mine every couple of trips... You have a ways to go before worrying much.

I should add that a change is usually indicative of something getting worn, so it's worth looking a bit closer.

Plug washers looked okay. There were a few metal shavings on the magnet. This boat was trailer kept until this summer. I changed the oil in April. It hadn't been changed in a couple of years and was very dark. But I don't think it was milky. I put it in a slip this summer where it has been used about once a week.
