I have always prefered either a tohatsu or a yamaha. I have never thought much of mercury, but that's all my granddad would put on his boats (the old mercury stack).
I have never owned that model but a friend did and he seemed to have a lot of electrical problems with it, but, he never used it much and maybe that was worse than lots of use.he sold it in 2004 and he had replaced some ignition bits and pieces (some twice) and had starter problems as well.
z2020<br /><br />i realy like mine! had an issue with idle when i first got it, ran rough. i adjusted the idle mixtures my self according to he manual and it purrs like cat now.
