1999 Mercury Blue Label vs Red Label

Someone told me the "blue" Mercury decals for a 1999 125 hp 2 stroke outboard were possibly for Saltwater version of the same motor with the red decals. Anyone have any input as to if that is correct and if so.....what special features might the "saltwater" motor have over the freshwater?

Generally the saltwater mercs say right on the cowl (saltwater). They are supposed t ohave parts on to reduce corrosion more so then a fresh water motor would.
