1999 Wellcraft Excalibur

I’m looking at a 1999 wellcraft Excalibur with a mercruiser 454 with 370hrs. He said the boat measures 22ft but after doing research I think it’s a 20ft, correct me if I’m wrong. Has anyone heard of this size of boat with that big of engine? Pros and cons?

It's possible it was ordered with a big block. Not that unusual for a 21 + - to have them . In theory the 454 will last longer than a small block. You are working the motor less to achieve the same speed you would with a small block. So if you properly maintain it you should get 5-6k hours out of her . The only " con " is ,,,, once your right hand starts pushing down and your going faster than you could with the small block , it's going to have you back at the fuel dock quicker than you wanted to be .
