1999 Wellcraft Fisherman 21'CC - access to bilge?

Hi all,

I just purchased this boat and have found that my in deck fishboxes in the cockpit do not drain. There is a pump in the bottom of the bildge that is getting power but not draining. Looks like two hoses come out for the fishboxes (right and left sides) that go do the pump

How in the world does anyone access anything in this boat? There are two door hatches in the transom and the small circular cover just in front of the motor, but there is no way to really reach anything in there.

Does anyone have any experience with lack of access? What do you do?
Also, if I want raw water washdown do I need to intall a pump?

I have the same exact boat and from what the previous owner told me he disconnected the hoses to drain to the rear compartment where the bilge pump would just pick up the water there. He had the same issue. Also he warned me that it is hard to get back there but that it can be done. I have not done much back there myself because he replaced everything. My Raw water wash down is tied into the live well pickup, there is a separate pump installed specifically for that.

I could prob get you some pictures if you wanted to see how mine was setup. let me know...

Jts, I would greatly appreciate it if you could get some pics.

Would draining fish water into bilge stink things up too much?
