Just purchased a boat with this motor on it. Don't know much about these engines. Just looking for some pointers as far as maintenance goes. What kind of fuel stabilizer should I use? Need to find a manual for starters but just wanted some advice on how to care for this engine. Thanks.

DO NOT USE ETHANOL FUEL. Run some Yamalube fuel stabilizer and conditioner. Altranate between that and the Yamalube ring free.
Also, Make sure you use Yamalube or another "manufacture" (Evinrude, Mercury, ECT) brand 2 stroke oil. Lot of the cheep oils at walmart and parts stores are junk and will cause carbon build up.... (see it all the time) Make sure you get it into the dealer to do the impellers every other year. and have the lower unit oil changed at least once a year or every 100HRS. If you are not going to be running your engine, for winter and such, PLEASE get it winterized. I know it might be a little bit more. But if the VST filters and the other filters get clogged, your looking at a bigger bill then it would have cost just to take care of it in the first place.
HAVE FUN WITH IT! There great motors and they run really well.
Congrats on your new OX66!
