1999 Yamaha Saltwater Series II - oil pump

Turn key to on position, alarm immediately sounds.

Main oil reservoir is full.

Small reservoir on engine is at low line level.

Leaving key in on position and pushing up on emergency switch doesn't seem to do anything at all (no oil is going into small reservoir at all).

Suggested steps on tackling this one?

Lift pump, in the oil reservoir, chances are the magnets have fallen off of the housing.

I have replaced my pump once, and reglued the magnets to the housing once on my 97 130hp.

1st make sure there is 12V + getting to the oil pump,
then make sure the ground is getting a good connection when hitting the manual switch,
if it does get all of that check to see if the pump motor will works by jumping a 12 v source to it
