Hello all! This is my first post since I put my boats up last fall. Don't worry, I don't have a cracked lower unit or stuck steering cable, the knowledgeable members here have taught me the importance of proper maintenance so everything was in tip-top shape for 2010's first run! (At least for my small tinny, haven't awakened the 17'er yet!
)
Anyway while I was out fishing and messing around on the Occoquan River down here in VA I saw something that's not all too common on this stretch of river, a tugboat and empty barge negotiating the narrow channel during low tide. I sometimes see tugs and barges on the Potomac that has a much wider channel, but up where I caught this beast the channel isn't much wider than the barge in some places! Come to find out a stone (and sand, and gravel, etc) company named Vulcan own both and also have a dock nearby. I thought it was pretty a neat sight and had my camcorder with me so I shot a quick video.

Thanks for reading & watching and here's to a great boating & fishing season!
