I got this boat from a friend and have been reading alot about other restorations that are going on. I'm excited and nervous to get this started. I have an 86 Sea Ray Seville with the 140 Mercruiser. K my 1st question. How do I check transom to see if it is rotted. I started ripping out carpet and floor tonight. Do I need to remove the cap? If so what is proper way of doing this? Thanks, CatTech
