i have a 72 tri-hull i am rebuilding. i have cleaned out everything in the boat and grinded the hull. my question is, is it ok to use treated lumber for the stringers and transom? i plan on covering all of it with 2 layers of 17/08 after i have it glued in. thanks

I didn't use treated, I just got some exterior grade plywood. The treated always seemed like it held moisture and I didn't want to seal all of that moisture up inside layers of fiberglass.

If you layer your fiberglass right, the plywood will never be exposed, so the exterior grade should do fine.
